The next day just after sunset Daniel and Talia were walking around Edenvale , they walked through the town as the gaslight street lamps filled the streets with the soft glow of orange light. "Which direction is the old castle?" Asked Talia , "it is just a few streets away atop the hill" said Daniel as they walked around the street corner , a few minutes later fog began to descend over Edenvale making things a little difficult to see , "this fog came down so quickly" said Talia.
"There is nothing to worry about , take my hand Talia" said Daniel , Talia held his hand as they walked through the streets until they had reached the hill. "There it is , Edenvale castle just ahead of us" said Daniel , a moment later they began to walk up the steep hill towards the castle , as Talia and Daniel walked a little faster up the steep hill they saw flashing lights coming from the windows , "I wonder what is going on inside" said Talia.
"Hmm weird shall find out soon enough" said Talia a short time later they had finally reached the courtyard just outside the castle , the water in the fountain had frozen and the beside it lay a broken cart. They stood there and looked in front of them , the castle was partially covered in moss and ivy and some of the bricks looked like they could crumble at any moment , "the castle looks as if it could fall apart" said Daniel , suddenly the castle doors opened by themselves.
"It seems as if someone is expecting us , stay on your guard" said Daniel , Talia and Daniel walked onwards and entered the castle and looked around the hall. The doors closed themselves behind them as they began to walk around the castle , "let us not stay for long" said Talia as she stayed close to Daniel , a few moments later they heard a noise coming from a room upstairs , they walked up the spiral staircase until they reached the top floor.
As they walked down the hallway they heard a door creaking behind them , "we are not alone here , follow me" whispered Daniel , Talia followed Daniel towards the open door. They peeked inside the room but there was nothing there , "someone is playing games with us" said Daniel , they turned around and continued to walk down the hallway until they reached the room at the end , suddenly a monster came crashing through the doors and knocked them down.
"What is that thing , it looks like..." Said Talia but before she could finish talking the monster charged towards them , "NOT YET!" Shouted a man , the monster stood still in silence as it waited for it's orders. "You!?" Said Daniel in surprise as he looked at the man , "we thought you had perished in the fire" said Talia , "no , I survived that inferno" said Doctor Frankenstein , "but how?" Asked Daniel , "the old windmill had hidden room beneath it , I was fortunate that there wasn't to much rubble covering the trapdoor" said Doctor Frankenstein.
"And your monster , did it survive? Asked Talia , "no my creation perished in the fire , but as you can see I have another" he said , "you are a madman" said Talia. Daniel and Talia could see the madness in his eyes as he looked at them "KILL THEM!" ordered Doctor Frankenstein , his monster grabbed Daniel and Talia and dragged them across the floor , "we will stop you" said Daniel as the monster dragged them up the stairs and towards the roof , "I do not think so" said Doctor Frankenstein as he laughed.
"You are completely deranged" said Talia as Doctor Frankenstein followed them to the roof , a moment later they had reached the roof , the fog had gotten thicker and the wind had grew colder. The monsters grip was tremendously strong as it held Daniel and Talia over the edge of the roof , "HAHAHAHA" laughed Doctor Frankenstein as he watched his monster squeeze their necks , Daniel and Talia looked at each other and then their red eyes glowed.
Suddenly they both transformed themselves into clouds of mist "what is this , how did you do that!?" Said Doctor Frankenstein , the clouds of mist moved through the air appeared behind the monster. A moment later Daniel and Talia transformed themselves back into human form , "you and your monster shall die" said Daniel as the moonlight shone through the clouds and the fog stop the roof cleared a little , Doctor Frankenstein backed away from them slowly and ordered his monster to attack.
The monster stomped towards them and groaned as Doctor Frankenstein laughed , "go after Doctor Frankenstein and do not let him escape" said Daniel as he prepared himself for a showdown with the monster , Doctor Frankenstein ran down the stairs and into the castle's halls as Talia began her pursuit , Daniel and the monster walked around in a circle on the roof as it began to rain a little , "you shall die tonight...." He said as the monster clenched his fist.
