Subject: Concern Regarding Moderation Approach for Reported Content
@Hades I have reported a video posted by a users, @Sauparnika @Purplee Heart (sorry girl, nothing personal, just to bring to notice and stand for my friend) where there is a kid in the video. I do understand why you have stricken her, to send a clear message to users to be aware and cautious about what they post (to avoid infractions). However, it is also the duty of mods and admins to exercise discretion and ensure that the guidance provided does not feel excessively harsh or arbitrary.
At least give her a chance to voice her concerns in a proper trial (not a courtroom discussion). Evaluate the merits of the situation thoughtfully, and don't "throw the baby out with the bathwater." She may not have been fully aware of the issue, and a simple notice or prompt through a chatbot as a reminder could have sufficed.
@sweetiechowdary is a VIP user here who posted it as a part of the task. Given that this platform and its foundation largely revolve around VIP users, it’s important to show a degree of gracefulness and fairness when addressing such matters. I am raising this issue politely so she doesn’t feel bad or form a negative opinion about how things are managed here.
If you feel that what I did is wrong, you are free to strike me back. But as a woman, I will always raise my voice where it needs to be raised, instead of barking or projecting myself as a victim. I only ask for fairness and understanding in situations like these. Thank you.
