Suddenly a pool of black fluid appeared, within the pool a pair of glowing red eyes appeared as the figure started to emerge "Hades" said Odysseus "danger lies ahead for you Odysseus, my domain is full of creatures and demons" said Hades as he grips his sceptre tightly , "I need to get through the underworld to reach home faster" said Odysseus. Hades stared at him with a blank expression on his face , black fluid dripping from his hair and down his chiseled body , " if you somehow make it past the demons alive , then I may let you live and pass through" said Hades , Odysseus and his crew sailed on ahead staying vigilant as they go further into the underworld. Suddenly Odysseus and his crew were ambushed by demons, they drew their swords and tried to fight them off but with not much luck, the demons took Odysseus's crew one by one until only a dozen remain, then Odysseus remembered his amulet and held it out towards the demons, the demons screeched loudly and disappeared back into the shadows. Odysseus and his remaining crew sailed on , after a few hours they could see a small amount of daylight ahead of them , suddenly a horde of the undead appeared and boarded the ship, Odysseus and his crew fought them off one by one then he pulled out the orb and asked the gods for help , a flash of orange light appeared and there stood Apollo in front of him. Apollo's hands started glowing orange then started throwing balls of fire at the undead as Odysseus and his crew fought off the other undead aboard the ship. As the last of the undead were vanquished Apollo remained on board the ship as Hades appeared in front of them. "You're not leaving this place" said Hades, Apollo drew his sword as Artemis suddenly appeared next to him wielding her bow , "go to safety well take care of this" saiid Apollo and Artemis. Odysseus and his crew sailed ahead as Hades swung his sceptre around shooting fireballs at the ship, the fireballs narrowly missed, Apollo and Artemis charged forward keeping Hades busy while Odysseus and his crew escaped the underworld. They sailed west for days going from Island to island gathering resources for their journey home, Odysseus grabbed his orb and asked the gods for help for the third and final time, "we are lost and need directions to reach home" said Odysseus , "sail northeast for three days and you shall be close to home , but beware there will be danger waiting there" said Zeus. Odysseus and his crew sailed northeast for three days as Zeus had suggested and saw land ahead of them. to be continued in part 10
