A perfect place..

I've found the perfect place,
to lie beneath the sky,
And watch the wispy clouds,
Just slowly float on by.

A flock of birds fly overhead,
As wood pigeons softly coo,
Soaring up towards the sun,
Disappearing into the blue.

Here in the quiet meadow
Poppies sway in a gentle dance
Butterflies carried on the breeze
pollinating flowers and plants.

The climbing honeysuckle,
exudes a sweet floral scent,
Calming my mind and senses,
Reminding me of summers spent.

Theses moments evoke memories,
Of long gone days of the past,
So I'll just lie here and reminisce
And make each moment last ..
