Even while I’m at work, the rain makes itself known. The steady patter against the windows sounds like nature’s quiet music, softening the usual rush of the day. Each drop seems to wash away a little of the stress, blurring the outside view into a calm watercolor scene. Though my hands keep busy with tasks, a part of me drifts with the rhythm of the rain, as if the world is reminding me to pause and breathe.
