Great question! Maybe neither of them is playing the game, but rather both are struggling with their own unpreparedness. The guy wants physical intimacy, and the girl may not want emotional intimacy—so their definitions of what is "real" are different.

Okay so hear me out..sometimes it's not that girls do the disappearing act, it's that they've seen the act before.. When a guy flirts not just with her but with three or four others, sometimes even in front of her..it's kinda hard to take things seriously...In rare cases yeah, one in a hundred maybe catches true feelings, but most of the time it's just fake ones...And when a girl starts feeling comfortable and then realizes the guy actually likes her or lied about something, that's when she steps back.. It's not ghosting, it's self-protection..
Ofc not saying girls are always right... both sides mess up. But if we're talking ratios, I think the 50-50 blame might just tilt a bit more towards the guys!!!

It’s just the way I am if I fall in love with someone, I stop caring about anything or anyone else. Maybe I become selfish sometimes, or maybe even an idiot , jealous too. I know I sound idiotic right now, but when it comes to loving someone, I’m the dumbest creature alive. If loving someone is a sin, then I’d choose to be a sinner every damn second I could be.

Very complicated and tricky question, but i say they both know what they doing and why they doing it but still act soo innocent.....haha 90% of girls hide there feelings and expect men to initiate first, then woman take over and 90% of men just want attention and surrounder themselves and express everything...few need emotional support few need mental peace and few need love...(making out). I can't say this is game but can definitely say fight between heart and brain....
