The Real Fantasy

Funny enough, I never had an answer for that.

Back then, if someone asked me, I'd laugh and say, "Next question." Not because I was hiding anything I genuinely didn't know. I'm a quiet person, the type who'd overthink a simple "hi" before texting a girl. (Laughing emoji)

But now? My idea of a fantasy is a little different.

It's meeting someone who catches my attention and slowly figuring her out. Learning what makes her laugh, what annoys her, what she's passionate about. Building conversations that don't feel forced.

Then one day, without realizing it, she starts looking forward to my messages. She smiles when my name pops up. She finishes a good conversation and thinks "Damn, where did he come from?"

Not because I used some secret trick.

Just because I made her feel understood comfortable, and excited to talk again.

I guess my fantasy isn't about perfect moments.

It's about becoming someone's favorite notification.

and the idea of someone who cares for me
