Private messages problem

Basically I use chrome browser for zozo chatting site, since few days I'm facing a problem regarding 'private message' when somebody message me I don't get any notification alert or chat unread symbol also. I have tried so many ways, like clear caches, data, memory, history, site settings etc & then restart also. It's still happening with me. Whenever I logged in with 'Incognito Tab' it's seems normal, but it's difficult for all time open with incognito tab.
Hopefully, you'll help me, I wish. Dear @Administrator

did you check the "preferences" in the dropdown section in the chat? top left of the screen the cog wheel and make sure you turned on notifications? you have to make sure that "switch" is GREEN.

I've been here from 5months & I've checked those preferences settings are turned on. Although it's not working
